Instaflash before and after
If you follow me on social media, you’re probably aware that Instaflash is, almost certainly, my very favorite iOS app. Every time the developer puts it on sale or, on rare occasion, gives it away for free, I’ve always reposted the news.
I’m taking this moment with my blog—completely of my own doing (no compensation from Instaflash)—to show some before and after versions of photos I recently made during a strip to Savannah, Georgia, edited in Instaflash, and posted to a Flickr album.
Instaflash has some tools I wish were in Photoshop! Not that I can’t accomplish similar results in Photoshop, but that I am very pleased with the Instaflash workflow. Mind you, this is not a magic wand tool app. It definitely requires you give the photo some TLC, but that’s exactly what I desire. I’m not a huge fan of filters (which is why I’ve never fully embraced Instagram). I’m much happier handholding a photo through its enhancement.
So, here are some of my favorite examples that show the transformation Instaflash can bring about. Click any image to embiggen.
