Extirpation

I just learned a new word today, and I absolutely love it.

Ex•tir•pa•tion
ek-stər-ˈpā-shən
“The act of removing or destroying something completely.”

In my case right now, it perfectly encapsulates my having just eradicated the former Bird Site from all the menus on this web site. The word begins with the sound of the Bird Site’s new name. If you mentally add the letter W, the middle part sounds like a worthy description of Phony Stark—the man who destroyed the Bird Site. And the ending just embodies the act of eradication that I just completed here.

And with that, I’m probably 95% weaned off of the place.
